I have had him for a few classes and he expects the best out of his classes, but he does care about the students and truly wants you to learn. Take his off campus spring term classes, they are some of the best you could ever take.

The workload is not immense, but the amount of information covered on exams can be cumbersome. Churned through a few novels and most of a text book. Selected good text and has interesting personal stories seeing how he grew up in Poland.
