I liked her and thought she was great. Tough class, many assignments, presentations and a lot to read, but I learned a lot and the prof was funny, approachable and willing to help anyone who had questions and put the effort in. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend her to everyone.

I do agree that the workload was a little too much considering it was only a 3 credit course. We had to do quite a few presentations as well. But despite all this, I felt really comfortable in her class. She was very kind to me and wanted everyone to do well.

Got an A although not a simple task. High expectations for her class, and large workload for a 3 credit course. Essay outline and paper worth 65% of final. If you work hard you can do well very fair with making grade "adjustments" at end of year if you prove yourself. An anti-police course and prof to the max.

Extremely unrealistic expecatations and workload for a 3 credit course. Readings exceed 200 pages a week at some points. Very unclear instructions as to assignments in class, clarrified only after assignmnet handed back. Knew students did very poorly as a class for the past three years with the 10 page (yes 10 page) essay outline,doesnt care.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!I was intimidated to initially..but do all your readings! her teaching style is unique...but I was vry grateful for it. Definitely teaches you to THINK before you speak- a quintessential LIFE SKILL. She is knowledgeable and the material was SO INTERESTING. I LOVED HER CLASS! She is AMAZING!

This prof is one of the utmost authorities on the subject in North America. She is far from easy, but provides constructive criticism. It was an honour taking her class and is helpful with reference letters. Getting an A was hard but worth it. She lectures very well and, as you'll see is a really busy woman. Her material is extremely interesting.

Unfortunately I didn't really enjoy this course. I felt she was unclear of what she wanted and she made me feel stupid if I tried to ask her something. She didn't respond to my emails either :( I hope I'm just an isolated case. I'll be happy if I even passed...
