Comment:

This professor is ok, i've taken her twice but now I will try to avoid her. Doesn't try to get to know anyone. If you make one mistake on a test or assignment, your grade is lowered significantly. I was always on time, always showed up, and did well on all my assignments and got a C in the class due to one paper. She isn't a friendly woman either

I took the online class and she was very broad with the instructions for the discussion posts. It took her a while to answer emails and even then she wouldn't answer the questions I asked. Tough grader, participation is everything. Thankfully I passed with a high enough grade so I don't have to take it again.

Professor Fitzgerald was ok but nothing more than that. Not friendly at all and doesn't try to get to know her students. Lets you know what will be on the final, but it's hard anyways so you MUST study. Be sure to follow directions on the paper very precisely because on slip up means a way lower grade. Class wasn't so tough, but very annoying

She is probably one of my favorite professors at Pace. Im not a CJ major but Ive taken 2 classes with her to fulfill my requirements Shes an absolute sweetheart & teaches about whats going on in the world along with the course material. Homework grade based on if you hand it in & a midterm& final. Shes extremely qualified&respected. Take her!

Fitzgerald is the best professor I had this semester. She's hilarious and her first hand stories in the CRJ system makes learning it even more entertaining. Her class is super easy if you pay attention and take notes. Also she values participation so be prepared and know whats going on in the world.

Overall, I really enjoyed her class. She's a funny teacher and class was never boring. She gave a good intro to criminal justice. The only problem is that she goes off topic a lot so if you want to get a good grade on her tests I suggest you read the textbook outside of class. Paper wise - it's not hard at all. Make sure you keep up with the news.

Do not take her online class. She is a disgrace as a professor. Zero clarity in her assignments and she will not clarify her requirements! Truly she picked the wrong profession. You could spend the whole semester not knowing what you're doing wrong and she will not help you. Furthermore if you email her asking for explanations she will take weeks

She's real and so funny. You learn a lot regardless of your major. There is no way to fail her class it's an easy A. There's 4 short papers (like max 3 pages) and a mid term. Your final is a 10 page paper.

She was by far one of my favorite professors, pay attention and take notes. Her class is a lecture, but if you skim through the text at some point during the chapter you'll be fine. Study for your midterm and final and the class will be a breeze. Also, stay up to date on what's going on in the world, she starts every class with that question.

Fitzgerald was so unclear some students were still doing the weekly assignments wrong even at the end of the semester. She graded papers HORRIBLY and would take off points for no apparent reason, seemingly due to her premeditated grading. And she was very rude when approached. Avoid her.

Good professor. Really knows her whats she tag about and keeps up with the news as it relates to what she teaches. She is a very hard grader only because she tells you what she wnats and if you dont give it to her she marks you down. Her midterm is kind of hard because there are only 4 questions on it. Very good professor. Really knows her stuff and keeps up with the news as it relates to what she teaches. However, she is a very stiff grader. Her finals aren't very hard. But her study guides consist of everything while the test has very little on it so studying can be very tedious. If you want a good experience take her but really give your best.

She is a good professor. Her class is interesting to go to. However, her exams amd papers are hard. I went to the writing center to get my papers checked, but she still gave me the same grade for both my papers. Also, not good professor. Getting the same grade tells you you are not improving, which I disagree totally.

Awesome professor. Not a criminal justice major at all but I enjoyed her class. On-line hw, two BS "papers", and two exams. You def have to study for her exams, although what she usually tells you to study is 85% more than what's actually on the test. Consisted of 4 essay questions and bonus. She's cool. Def take her if you need to fill an elective
