Horrible! I do great in PSCI classes but she's wrecked my average. She takes interesting topics and makes really really boring classes. She has a whiny, screechy voice and talks down to you if you disagree with her. Arrogant and unhelpful. Very hard final. 292 is a great class, just please, take it with a different prof!

Get real...the exams were NOT that hard. This isn't a traditional "law course", but it actually makes you THINK about why we have laws, and what makes a law justifiable. I took it as a bird, but was surprised by how much I learned.

This is NOT a law course. you will not learn about the canadian legal system. Janzen prefers to argue and rip into students rather than teach. Exam is harder than it should be. READ EVERYTHING.

Spends most of class arguing semantics with students, there is no actual learning done in class. THIS IS NOT A LAW CLASS, it is a chance for her to try and show off to students. Nothing was learned about the Canadian legal system, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Yeah, most of the class is debate, but you do get to hear her bash the opinions of ignorant and arrogant students...plus, it also makes for little examinable material. It's a win-win!

I had to drop this class that it was soo bad! She spends about 75% of the class aruging with students trying to prove she is right and the other 25% of the class (the last 25 mins) she spends speeding through PowerPoint slides and can't copy down anything
