I took this class for gen Eds and Id say if you don't need it for major, find an easier math class to take. If you're not good with math to begin, this class will be difficult & frustrating. A nice lady but can't teach very well, kind of just expects you to know what to do. Offers help, but gets frustrated when you don't know. Webworks hw is a pain

She rushes through the material and doesn't like to slow down. She is a nice person but her teaching style is terrible. She also assigns so much homework; she doesn't seem to think hours of homework a night is a problem. I had to withdrawal from the course and take it again with another professor the following semester.

She is the nicest lady you will meet but she is not very helpful. She barely uses a text book and the text book she uses does not help at all. Her notes are very scattered and lack detail. I have no choice but to take more classes with her but I'm extremely dreading it. If you want to pass know the material before taking the class.

Great person. Horrible teacher. She is extremely unclear with everything she says, talks way too fast, and rushes through every concept. Assigns homework that doesn't help on her tests at all and is basically pointless! AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF POSSIBLE!

Not being a math person really hurt me. She trys very hard to explain things in differnt ways bit always confuses me. Wonderful person, sweet and caring about her students, which are rare qualities in a professor.

Can not stand the class. She such a sweet lady, but she seems to have no idea what she's talking about! Wrote the book you go out of, but doesnt have the answers for the questions. Just dependent on the students to have the right ones. It's a class that you have to teach yourself everything in. Super annoying!

She is a very unique teacher. Uses the IBL method, which stands for Inquiry Based Learning, which stands for figure it out for yourself. I don't think I'd recommend her to someone that is not a math major. If you don't like being in front of the class room being the teacher, don't take her.

Dr. Morrow was extremely nice and helpful. It was easy to see that she really cares about her students and their success! She was always trying to get more tutors in the Learning Center! : ) She was also always willing to help me when I did not fully understand something! I would recommend her to anyone!

If you know a little math, she's not hard to follow. Sometimes a little too fast but she responds well to "wait, what?" type comments. Test questions are sometimes unfair but it's not hard to figure out what concepts will be the bonus question on quizzes/exams.

She is just clueless on how to run an effective class. Attempts to be all buddy buddy but lacks the ability to lead a class and actually instruct. Don't buy the book she does everything online... Terrible way to do math the Webworks website is syntax oriented and is just a pain. Avoid this class.

Extremely nice woman and very willing to help if you don't understand. But she assigns tons of homework each class, and doesn't seem to understand that students don't have hours to spend on homework for her class. Her teaching style is not the most effective, as she likes the students to "teach" themselves. Insists on group work as well.

She's a terrible teacher. Her topic is dry and she ensures it stays that way. Shes a nice lady, but she assigns LISTS of homeworks, including a weekly essay. Yes. A math essay. Her teaching style is poor at best, consisting of "Right?" "Understand?" and then incoherent unorganized blather. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Everyone else says shes nice and sweet. She is. Personality is an A+. Teaching style and class? A big F. This woman goes FAR too fast, assigns massive amounts of homework that is simply busywork, and her teaching style is messy and all over.AVOID.

She's nice. HOWEVER: She goes far too fast, minces her words, stops and askes herself where she is, says things then says "Oh, no, nevermind". You are given a LOT of homework (Bookwork, worksheet, and an essay each week). Its a Gen Ed that she treats as an upper level course. Don't like Math? You'll HATE this class. Boring and too much for a Gen Ed

I was a little weary to take calculus online at first, but it was the best thing for me. With her as my teacher I breezed by (with lots of work on my part and hers) and it made the class a lot less painful. I'm so happy I dropped Dr. Blais' class for hers. Best teacher you could take online. Very clear, very helpful even if you're no good at math.
