Maggie's alright with me! Hard course material, but if you attend the classes she explains material well. She is a tough marker, but seems fair. If you need 6 credit hours of theory, I would recommend Ogrodnick

Very knowledgable, tells funny stories, and is very approachable outside of class. A tough (but fair) marker. All test material relates right back to her notes, so as long as you show up to class and take good notes, you'll be on the right track. Even if political philosophy might sound tedious at first, she just might make you a believer!

A lot of reading. Two tests, three essays and a final. Tough marker. I hate theory but needed the class. She was so great, I actually miss the class. Attendance mandatory, she will explain everything, the books will not help. She is clear, smart, energetic, helpful. Great class discussions, funny anecdotes

Ogrodnik rocks. Some people seem to think she is a tough marker, but i didnt really get that. I think it would be hard to get an A+, but if you read the material (which there is a lot of, sometimes 70+pg's a week) you will do fine. The work load is heavy, but worth it.

My level of interest in political theory prior to this course was 0. It is still pretty low, but because you have to take 6 cr. hrs of political theory in honours, I found myself in her course. She is very friendly and a fair marker. Despite having little to contribute in class discussions, I finished the class with an A+. Hi'ly recommended.

She really knows her stuff. It's funny how students would bring in previous philisophical background knowledge and try to apply it to the lectures to sound smart and she would just burn them. haha... a very fair marker and her lectures were always interesting with the examples she provided in films.

Excellent professor. By far one of the best in Arts. She knows her stuff and communicates it brilliantly. She marks fair, but I think you really have to put in the effort, there was a real distribution of grades, not an easy A by any means.
