I took Dr. Weinberger's Sociology of Human & animal interaction freshman seminar course and it was great! She had a lot of guests come in and speak and a lot of them brought animals with them. There are so many field trip opportunities you can go on with this class and the assignments really are not hard at all. She likes participation.

You really have to do the reading for this class or you wont be able to pass because she relates everything back to the book. Her notes are important, but what she lectures that isn't on the slides is what is most important. She takes participation seriously, so participate even if you don't know, because shell call on you anyway.

inspirational to me. I don't see how she trails off subject or boring but her stories are nice and thought provoking. If you read your book and come to class and do try theres no reason why you cant get a chance at passing let alone a good grade. Her tests are difficult but make you think. Read-very important and the test are based off it. Enjoyd!

This class is a bit challenging to just be an elective. Margaret is passionate about the subject but do not attempt tests without doing the readings. She doesn't take attendance but quizzes are given in class and will add up to hurt you if you don't score well on them. I don't really recommend her as a teacher, she is easily frazzled.

Her class is interesting. She puts the notes online. You have to read the book. She gives you little quizzes most days. Her exams aren't that hard and the essay you have to do isn't that bad. I would recommend if you are willing to read

She was very sweet and knew what she was talking about. I didn't like the subject matter all that much but she was still a very good professor

Her Cultural Anthropology class is easy. I don't know about everyone else but I do not read the textbook at all until its time to study for the test. Her slides closely resemble and reiterate whats in the text. You get to watch many films in class. Only two exams, a paper, and a couple online assignments are the only grades.

Dr. Weinberger (her name is spelled wrong here, but oh well) is an incredible teacher. She's a wealth of knowledge and knows how to relate it effectively. This class was sociological theory, and I took it in the superfast six-week summer session. There was a TON of very dense reading, but I loved every minute of it. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite professor that I had at BGSU and I NEVER got an A in her class! Thats the funny part. She's an awesome wealth of experience and knowledge. She expects the BEST from her students and expects us to work to our peak. LOTS of reading!

Fairly easy class. Definitely have to do the reading. Especially in the book of articles. A lot of class discussion, which makes it a little more interesting.

She is a pretty good prof. A LOT OF READING! She's expects you to read a 30 page chapter in 3 days. The notes she provides in class are useless and the movies she shows are dumb. She does provide a study guide which basically is the test! It is a very interesting class, just be ready for non-stop reading.

Pretty easy class. Need to attend to get the notes. Notes can be confusing at times but she does her best to explain. Never expects too much out of you. Wrote 3 2-page papers that were easy and graded well. Tests are easy if you do the readings, which you NEED to do the readings to do well in the class. Margaret is fun and easy-going.

I took the online verizon of Minority groups. The class is super interesting and you learn a ton. You have to read because it is online, but the readings are fun and she assigns a decent amount, not too much, which is good. we wrote 4 really short papers and they were super easy. She really is a good teacher, at last online.

She grades pretty hard but you can use your books on the tests (most of the time) you have to read and go to all the classes or you get behind.

Wastes time showing videos that were made in mainly the 70's. Shows no enthusiasm when teaching the class. Will say, she is a nice woman, but I would not recommend her if you are taking this class. Notes are not clear, tends to write a few words on the board and then expects you to keep up while she talks. Uses unclear connections during lecture.

I do not recommend this teacher. We missed 4 out of 16 weeks because she would get mad, and tell us to go home. She was late to class, and at the final exam the student was late to give us the exam, because she was attending a seminar. The contents of the class was interesting, but her quiz and tests were way off from the teaching.
