Get ready to learn Spanish the hard way, and in front of the whole class, study every day and night and weekends too or you won't make it, I did all of these things and still did not pass this class, I passed after taking this class twice. Ms. Cohn is really tough on her students.

Would not take with her. Very difficult to understand. Avoid if you can. She showed me my final grade on her computer and then when I checked it, it was LOWER. Terrible at explaining the textbook and explaining Spanish in general if you can even understand her. If possible chose a different instructor. AVOID.

I have been in community college three years and this is my last semester. What a way to end my CC experience. I have also had three foreign language profs. WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD. Unclear, rude, yells at you if you ask a question, does not teach. In shock she has not been fired for how she treats students. AVOID THIS WOMAN.

This year I took Ms.Cohn class due to her inability of working with a online course. Her website was confusing and unhelpful. I have sent her numerous emails about a test that I had done and she asked for my phone number and time to be reached it is a online class not a phone class!!

I'm very disappointed in this teacher. Does she even teach? I took her class online and only managed to pass because I've taken previous Spanish classes in the past, so relearning the lessons were not all bad. But as for helpfulness, she is seriously lacking, does not engage with her students, and I recommend not to take her class online either.

um, I passed the class because i am a native speaker. but honestly I think she needs to help students more at the beginning of semester as well as the end. She is a great person and her teaching skills need a little more work. Dont take this class unless u have a friend that can help you explain what u dont understand

It's midway through the semester and I find that Senora Cohn means well, but she's a terrible teacher. She will find a way to not answer your questions, she makes countless careless errors and lashes out when asked for help.

I personally like her but dislike her teaching methods. After reading the comments on RMP from students who have had her past semesters I definitely think she's made an effort to become a better teacher since. Very unclear on grading and sometimes unorganized but she DEFINITELY cares about the students success. She even offers outside of class help

She makes you feel like you're an idiot and when you look for her to help you she just tells you that its easy. What a hole !! I would recommend having a rock bash in your face before i would recommend mrs.cohn's class.

Avoid at all costs!!!! I make all A's and got first C in this class. And it was the highest grade in the class. Finished with a 79.92 avg and she would not allow anything to earn .08 of a point to make an 80 avg. Does use the book, BECAUSE SHE WROTE IT!!!

I've taken SPA 111 twice. The first time, I took it with Nikopolous, who was nice and helpful but ended up dropping b/c I just didn't understand the material. Profesor Cohn is the rudest, most unorganized teacher I've ever had but I ended up passing with an A. She actually MAKES you apply the spanish to actually understand it. She gives homewor
