Santana is a great teacher for a discussion based class like this. She makes class interesting, and you will laugh the entire time but you are learning the whole time. She is open and very real. She tells you exactly what she expects from you on test/quizzes/homework. I would take her class 500x over if I could.

Santana is good on a personal level, but if you want to learn anything that pertains to journalism (this course is a requirement for visual journalism), this course will disappoint. Projects could be interesting, but they lacked a "college" feel to them - think grade school craft projects. If you're looking for a fun and easy class, this is it.

Dr. Santana is amazing! She is so nice and helpful. She treats us as adults and has a great sense of humor. Three quizzes, a photo due each week and a final exam are the grades. It's a small class, so she knows everyone and something about them which is unique in a teacher.

MC Santana is fun and exciting! This course was hands on and creative. we took a couple of "field trips". She does a great job at making teaching enjoyable and interesting. tests are based on notes and text but she gives you a review sheet so you know what you'll be expected to know. this class only offered in fall.

The best teacher EVER! So outgoing, funny, and helpful! It was the easiest class I have taken at UCF and I recommend it to everyone! And you don't have to buy a book, no tests and no quizzes either! Just three projects! Its great!!

Had her for international COMM. Easy going and class wasn't too hard. Easy to get an A. Good material but she doesn't teach it. She has the class do mini-presentation. Liked the fact it was an easy A but it you want to get your money worth in grad school -- Don't take her classes.

Great class and Santana is an absolute riot. As far as the class goes, my only criticism is that there is very little instruction as far as photo technique. But I learned quite a bit just by going to her office and asking for help.
