She spends the entire time discussing her personal beliefs. I had to teach myself the entire semester. DO ALL THE HOME WORKS! Very messy, hard to understand, does not discuss her grading policy. You WILL have to write a term paper which is incredibly confusing because she does not give any guidelines. Very nice, but not a good professor.

She tends to go off on political tangents instead of teaching what's on the syllabus. She is very unclear in her grading method, she seems to grade by ranking students answers. I do not feel I came out of this course learning anything from her.

Never replies to emails. No review sheets, no specific instructions, changes assignments midway through. The syllabus is worthless. I received A's on all the exams, did extra credit, but received a B+ for my final grade, how does that happen? Interesting class but I would rather take it with a more organized professor.

Easy class. Her lectures are very boring and really everything you need to know for the test is in the book. No need to take notes. Final paper is a 12 pager but we didnt have to do a final exam. Both midterm tests are easy and curved. She is opinionated but not a mean person by any means.

I'm a business major so I found the class very interesting. She is very clear on what she wants so no surprises. She knows her stuff and will expain it to the fullest. She enjoys helping her students and give good lectures so it is very helpful to attend class. I definitely recommend her.

Here's the secret to her class: Put up with her opinion driven comments, participate in class, turn in the homework, and do good on the exams. The students that dislike her do so because they can't get over her slightly cantankerous style. Once you get beyond it she can be very helpful. It's college, you will find characters throughout.

Very nice lady. You have to study hard in her class and be prepared for all essay (no multiple choice) tests. Make sure you know the general concepts discussed in class and in the readings, and some specifics. If you don't, ask. Sometimes she is clear, sometimes she is vague. It helps to study with classmates who are familiar with economics.
