Comment:
I would not recommend her as a professor to anyone. First of all, she comments while she distributes the test grades to the students. You can predict every students' grade by listening to her comments. Also, she is often very impolite. When I had my oral exam with her, she was literally yawning in front of me. She also makes sexual jokes in class.

Seriously the hardest course I have ever taken. Learned Spanish for 2 months and she expects us to write a short essay. Also, she takes marks off every single mistake whether it is small or big. If you forget a comma, you lose a mark. Never take this if you are trying to boost up your GPA; unless you have at least 10 hours per week to study Spanish

She is a great person. She really cares about her students and is fun and entertaining but the tests are hard. She takes half marks off for everything and puts the hardest questions on there.

Marianella is a true gem of a professor. She makes me excited to come to class as she engages students in a fun, effective way. I have yet to meet a prof with as much as enthusiasm as her, and her inspirational speeches make you tear with admiration. She is full of energy and possesses a genuine zest for life. Muchas gracias, senora!

This prof is difficult unpredictable and self-absorbed as she speaks incessantly about her son in university not professional! VERY hard marker and seems to be easy at pointing out your flaws instead of encouraging you.She will nail you on punctuation and yet makes mistakes herself. Try to avoid if possible as your GPA will plummet.Buena Suerte!

She spends 50% of her time during class talking about her son! She is not easy at all, if you are not a native spanish speaker it may get really hard because she makes it hard! You have to do a presentation and she marks it hard too. I hated this class! And I really love literature!

One of the most passionate teachers on campus. She does mark hard, so if you're not willing to put in work to learn the language don't bother taking the class. Otherwise, you kinda need a hard marker when learning a language to see where you went wrong. She made me love waking up early to go to her class, she's an absolute peach & loves teaching.

really i learned a lot from this prof. Everything was explained well, and if she noticed that someone was struggling she would really try to assist them. However, if you are not interested in actually earning your liberal credit through hard work, or not interested truly in learning the language, then don't take it

I really thought this class would be an easy A, but it's not. She's so funny, she's really nice but oh my, a hard marker. She subtracts a lot of points if you make those little mistakes. On top of my work load, trying to memorize the words and accents is just too much so I always study a day before or the day off. But it was a fun class!

Great Prof espec. for learning Spanish as a second language. very passionate about the course. She's not an easy marker but she's fair. She is tough on academic integrity; so, if you are a native speaker, she will expel you from the class and give you a zero on your GPA

She is not a fair or helpful professor.I am an intermediate written level and fluent spanish speaker. Took introduction for easy grade but she grades unrealistically and asks dumb memorizing questions rather than testing knowledge. Talks more about her son than spanish.Grades low just to make you feel unintelligent even if you are great at spanish

Not a good prof. Pretends to be friendly and funny and stabs you in he back when is exam, presenation or paper time. Not clear in her expectations and never gives high marks just b/c she doesn't feel like it. Gives absurd excuses for your marks and asks personal questions about her life in the tests. A bit unproffesional.

She can be very unprofessional at times -- frequently making inappropriate comments, which should not be made even in jest by a university prof. She is however, quite intelligent. For Spanish though, it is only an easy mark if you have taken the language before, otherwise it will likely lower your overall GPA

i like her teaching style, she is funny, happy and talkative. You'll think the class is easy, but when it comes to tests she is a hard marker. Hardly kept my mark above 80. Take this class if u r interested in spanish language and culture, but dont take this class for a good mark...
