Homework was excessive and online quizes were ridiculously frustrating and an absolute waste of time. Tests were hard and often covered things we did not learn about in class. Partial credit on tests was scarce. Absolutely no curve. I highly recommend taking someone else for this class if you can, but if you can't, I'm sorry.

Calc 3 isn't easy but she made it as easy as she could. Recommend. She pulls her test and quiz questions from the specific homework problems she assigns so just do the problems, and you should easily pass.

What a sweet lady! Unlike Mohapatra, her exam reviews reflect her actual exams. She gave everyone 100% on our final project, which was 40% of our grade. Yes folks. She's that sweet of a lady. She's very helpful in her office and extremely kind to her students.

Like others have stated, the tests and quizzes are very similar to the homework (she allows time for questions in class). My only suggesion is to make sure you do every single problem she assigns. She usually chooses the harder problems (especially one's with more difficult integration and derivations). Overall though, pretty easy class.

One of the best professors I've ever had. She is very clear and helpful. Tests and quizzes are exactly like the homework.

Love this lady! Her probability class was a lot of fun. Her Russian accent is awesome yet she's still very thorough and clear. Funny and enthusiastic too. One of my favorite professors at UCF thus far for sure.

She is very clear and does a LOT of examples which is great. The test questions are right out of the homework problems. Yes you do need to remember calc 2 stuff in order to do well (integ. by parts / partial frac decomp). But she grades very fairly and drops the lowest test and quiz grade. In all I think she's a very good teacher.

I will admit she is fair, but to get a A in this course you better remember ALL of you calc 2. She will put problems with multiple integration by parts or complex partial fractions but If you know your Calc 2 and understand all of the DE material from homework you will do ok. Drops lowest test (out of 3 exams) and drops one quiz grade. Also 3% extra cred for attendence. Not easy A by any means but if you know your stuff you shouldn't have trouble doing well.

Fiar teacher, lectures from the textbook. Nothing unexpected, everything is very solid, grading is completely fair and completely standardized, if you make mistakes, no matter how small, you'll get points off, but is always fair in grading.

This is a good professor. Calculus is a hard subject, but she drops the lowest test and quiz and give 3 pts extra credit for attendance. Just do the homework, even though it's not required, so that you can learn the material and you'll be perfectly fine.

I found Professor Pensky to be unsympathetic, difficult to understand, and a poor communicator in general. I failed her class partly because of a learning disability. I did not seek accommodation for the disability. I retook MAP2302 with Dr. Andrew Nevai the next semester, did not seek accommodations for a learning disability, and passed with a B+.

She must have changed over a couple years because she is nothing like her earlier reviews a couple years ago. She pretends to care but doesn't really help. Ridiculous grading on material from previous classes. Never failed a class before until I took her class.

Avoid if you can. Needed at least a C on the final to pass, studied for an extremely long time before hand about 2 weeks and some how FAILED!!? Extremely angry since I put in immense amounts of work into this class. So much that I managed to get B's in all my other classes if I didn't have to worry so much about her quizzes and tests wuda got A'

Terrible grading!! She makes a not very difficult class ridiculous. I thought going into this class she was going to be better than other prof's, but I was wrong. Little errors takes off big pts. Takes problems from HW for quizzes and tests but twists them in such a way that its extremely hard or takes really long. gotta use grade forgiveness now

I took her for Differential Equations and to me it was kind of a nightmare. The Test and Quiz questions were from the book, but they were either the challenging problems or they took a so long to do it that it was very easy to make mistakes. She grades horribly, I made a minor algebra mistake and she gave me 2 out of 20 points.

Her class was not difficult but it wasn't really easy either. The material is good up till laplace transforms then it gets extremely difficult. Never really got enough time for the exams and her notes can be confusing at times so you might have to teach yourself the material. Made mistakes on some of the tests and in class. Practice the homework!!

Took her class for differential equation. She's very helpful but her tests seemed a little longer than I'd like where tedious math was necessary. She does drop the lowest test and quiz grade but the final is worth almost half of your grade.

I took her for Calc II and got a B (enough said). She's very good at explaining the material, you just have to get off your butt and do the homework. If you do the homework then you will do well on the tests and quizzes of which there are only 3 (lowest of each are dropped). I just took the final though and it was QUITE DIFFICULT.

The only problem I have with her class is that she NEVER gives enough time for tests or quizzes. I have spent the entire 15 minutes between classes working on tests EVERY TIME on top of what she gives us in class. Otherwise, she is nice, fair, and helpful in office hours.
