Confusing and tough grader. Goes off on tangents and rushes through stuff once she realizes she fell behind the syllabus. Uses trick questions a lot on tests, really unfair.

She honestly is not too bad. Her grading is very fair and if you pay attention in class and know the material she will reward you. Shes there for her students and advocates for the service learning requirement to be dropped. She knows this isnt the only class you take.

This Professor is very difficult to please. I have NEVER written a review for a teacher so it is saying a lot for me to even take the time to inform any person to avoid this Professor at all cost. This Professor fosters a hostile and uncomfortable environment in the classroom, which makes it very difficult for students to participate. She degrades.

She is the most confusing professor that I have ever had. She teaches each class different things but she expects them do the same assignments. She grades according to who she likes and not actually on the content of the assignment.

This professor is the worst philosophy professor that I have ever had (I have taken a class from almost every philosophy professor in the department). She made me feel very uncomfortable when I tried to participate in class and embarrassed me in front of everyone. She puts trick truefalse questions on the exam which she openly admitted in class.

Her emphasis on participation is very useful because the students' ideas get distributed around for the benefit of everyone. Following instructions in her assignments helps a lot because it removes your ability to over thinking the methods needed to formulate your essays( 1 page btw ).

Djuth is not only boring beyond belief but she is incredibly confusing as well. She will say she wants an assignment one way yet grades it a different way then she will claim you did not do it to her specifications. I went to talk to her about my low grades on assignments and she told me I was doing a great job..what? I strongly dislike this prof.

I am not exaggerating when I say that this is by far and away the worst class I have taken in my college career. She cannot relate to students on any level whatsoever and comes across as quite smug and even abbrasive. She manages to make the material seem even more dull than it actually is and is seemingly clueless about anything and everything.

BAD IDEA. the class is absolutely ridiculous. no idea what shes talking about EVER, a ton of assignments and tests which are graded VERY harshly, she says one thing but expects another. do NOT take this class. i promise you you'll regret it.

Her class made me not want to live. Such a boring teacher to teach a boring subject. Would have rather had someone pluck every single one of my toenails off before I would take her class again. If you like listening to her stupid trips to Hawaii, take this class.

Nice Lady, class was a little boring, but since ours was small, everyone got involved in discussions which made everything alot easier. Put in the work and you will get a decent grade. Tip: display interest in philosophy for brownie points

Avoid taking any classes with this teacher if possible. The material is very boring and impossible to understand without a Philosophy degree. She gives a lot of work and grades each assignment very tough. The exams are also quite hard as you are asked to remember very small details from numerous readings.

This professor is very helpful. I wanted to drop the course but she would not let me give up, and helped me study for the exams and clarify difficult material during her office hours. She does accept late assignments, but takes off a few points, which is fair. She helped me have a better understanding of Philosophy of Law.

Avoid this professor at all costs! She is very unclear about her grading and overly critical of supposed grammar errors. She makes very unprofessional comments (both about Students and Faculty). So if you seek to decrease your GPA this one is for you! I read the comments on this site and ignored them and I made a big mistake.

Class is not that hard if one understands philosophy a little, but it does require a lot of work and studying. Teacher is very easy to talk to at office hours, but don ot ever come late or you'll defiantly get on her bad side.

Terrible class! This woman should not be teaching. She cant even get 50 percent of her class to pass some of her tests. Shes also very sarcastic and rude when you ask a question and makes you feel stupid for asking. Very unclear assignments and poorly written tests. You have to work your ass off to do well. goodluck

I was not a huge fan of this teacher. Course is OK, not too difficult if you do the reading and use the review sheet. She accepts NO late assignments and takes attendance everyday. 6 absences per the syllabus but I wouldn't recommend it if you want to stay on her good side. She's NOT flexible w/scheduling issues like ROTC/sports/conferences etc

Extremely boring class. I got nothing out of it. However, you can get through it with barely paying attention because she gives review sheets for tests.
