AVOID. Constantly late to class. Complains about students and having to mark papers. All she does is just read the powerpoints which are straight out of the book. Barely manages to explain things or answer any questions. All assignments must be done by hand - no electronic submission. Useless as a teacher. Won't learn anything from.

She teaches INFO1214 like it is an English class. Docks marks for minor language difference. Avoid taking this class. She can be nice, but Is largely unconcerned with her students and how her grading and teaching pace affects them, her anal grading criteria, inability to accept valid criticism/change teaching style. I am not a biased reviewer.

This teacher takes way too long to grade assignments/ labs. You can make the same mistake multiple times because you wont know what you are doing wrong until 2 weeks later by when you have already submitted 3 other assignments. And to make it worse, she does not explain how she would like the assignments to be submitted.

Her lectures are pretty useless and she takes FOREVER to mark assignments. She's a very tough marker when it comes to assignments, but she's the most generous marker with exams and quizzes. I was clueless on the written portion of the midterm and still got 98% because she accepted my nonsense answers. If you fully read the book, you'll do well

Lab every class which is copy and paste. It doesn't help you learn. You might as well not show up considering you won't be able to pay attention to her incredibly boring lecture that is word for word what the slides say that you could just read at home. Takes 1 month+ to mark things and I've been waiting over a month for a response to 4+ emails.

INFO1112 is based around C# programming. You need to read and practice in order to learn it. She provides all the information you'll need and will be there to answer questions but you will have to take it upon yourself after class to do the homework or else you won't do so good. She can be a little unclear at times, but overall is decent.

Marie Lichimo covers all the material needed to pass the course with an A. Her speech can be unclear at times but her lectures are on point. She may seem harsh to students who don't understand the material. Don't take it the wrong way, she wants you to pass and maybe she wants less work for herself when marking your work.
