Dr. Z is the coolest teacher on earth! Microbiology is a tough class in and amongst itself, but Z teaches it well even though everything sounds the same. On the plus side, lab is easy compared to lecture.

Micro is intense! It's hard because of the amount of material, but she gives you everything that you need to know. Handouts? Write all over them, read them, utilize them. If you are having problems she will gladly help. I love Z!

Overall, Dr. Z is a good teacher. Although, her lectures are very fast and confusing. You need to be very alert. I do advise to get a tutor and to get help from her individually. It helps a lot when you are with her one on one. Her lab are fun. Make sure you know all of your organisms like the back of your hand. Work hard and study hard.

dr. z is one of the smartest people i know. she's an awesome person but her teaching style is kinda iffy. definitely get a tutor...and her labs are really fun...it's her lectures that are bad.

she is a VERY smart woman, but not a great teacher. she teaches fast and is unorganized, but if you go to her she will help. lab is really fun. she is a really nice lady with funny stories.

I had her about a year ago. I'll admit she REALLY knows her stuff. But it's true that her lectures go by SO FAST! It was hard for me to keep up w/ her notes. But I got thru it. I recommend finding a micro tutor no matter how well/bad your're doing. It helps A LOT. Well... @ least my tutor did-<3 LAB

Zeuthen is unorganized, however she knows so much about her subject that I felt honored to be her student, and confident that she would teach me what I needed to know. Overall, she is friendly but her lectures are so fast it's hard to keep up!Confusing.
