I was extremely excited to take this course...some parts were interesting (as it should be)... but tests were ridiculously hard, and 35 M/C questions to determine 30% of mark is a bit steep for a 2nd year course.

horrible teacher, class average was less than a 65%. sets you up to fail by not posting lecture slides. skips over the main points and proceeds to an overwhelming number of examples. expect her to make u wait over 20/30 minutes to meet w/ her since everyone will be wanting to review their grades. UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPREHENSIBLE! U MUST AVOID!!!

Great prof... she challenges students and (although it is only my opinion) contrary to other comments I have found her extremely friendly and approachable. Her multiple choice tests are a little difficult, but I believe them to be fair and her lectures are very informative.

She was one of the RUDEST Prof.'s I have EVER met. Anytime I asked for help she would be short, stuck up and snippy. Try to contact her by email and she will be sarcastic and treat you like an idiot. Her class was really interresting but if you want a teacher who actually cares and respects her students, don't expect Belle.

I took this class for fun since i'm not a soc major. And it was AWESOME. VERY ORGANIZED PROF who really cares about students learning. I got a low 70 on the 1st test and was a little bummed out, but due to her help and guidance I finished the course just over mid 80s. She GENUINELY cares as long as you put in the effort.

One of the best profs in sociology. Her classes are entertaining and interesting, her slides are well organized and great for studying. Her exams are fair, if you go to class, take notes and read, you will do well. Cares about her students, very willing to help!
