Worst class I've ever taken at JMU. The professor made it extremely difficult and told my class that she didn't care about our grades.

Is completely clueless as a teacher. When you ask her a question, she deflects and tries to move around answering it because she doesnt know the answer. Honestly the worst teacher Ive ever had. So hard to learn anything because she doesnt know the material herself. Tries to play off lack of knowledge with constant jokes.

Just don't do it. Try to take this class at a community college. If you decide take it,the only way to PASS is to do all the readings and ask questions in class.

Professor made the material very hard to understand (not just because of her thick accent). Econ is a hard subject in general, but she made the material very confusing often going on tangents that were not related to the content at all. Going to class was just confusing and she often used trick questions on the test. DONT TAKE!!!!!

I made a rate my professor account just so I could clear up the misconceptions of this professor. Dr. Rosser was one of THE BEST professors I have had at JMU. Her tests are difficult, don't get me wrong, however, she is beyond helpful and will explain things to you as many times as you need her to. I went to her office hours all the time.

Hard tests and intense lectures. She's smart but her lectures can be confusing and she's a bit odd. Grades all depend on tests and extra credit so you neeeeeed to study a lot. Not the worth but it's hard and she's not that great.

4 Tests determine your final grade. The tests are difficult, and have small tricks that require test taking wit. If you want a business school worthy grade, you will need to do all extra credit opportunities. She gives out extra credit in class 75% of the time, and participation is key. Full effort course. High level thinking lectures.

One of the hardest classes I've ever taken. Econ in general is tough material. She gives out A LOT of extra credit via Canvas and in class. Let's you have a small cheat sheet on tests. Everyone failed the second test and it completely ruined my grade. No HW but you need to read. Go to class, the lectures help and you sometimes get answers to tests.

She's a great professor, and she cares about the students. She makes class interesting and fun, but there are only four tests that are very hard. She does give extra credit, but be prepared to read and actually study for this class.

She's hard to understand, your only grades are 4 tests and they're all super hard. She's also just rude and is kind of out to get you, she has no interest in helping her students out.

Marina Rosser is the reason my GPA makes me want to cry. The first test we took I used the notes I took from her lectures and got a 61, the 2nd and 3rd I stopped going to class and strictly used the book... 84 on both. Long story short, her classes are pointless and she teaches nothing. Also, the final exam was ridiculous and everyone failed. :)

Grade is all exams. Exam 1, 2, and 3 are each 20 percent of your grade and the final is 40. All of them are hard. I read all the chapters and did most of the optional homeworks. Final grade? C. She did make the class interesting and was a good teacher but as someone taking this for a gened, it wasn't worth it.

Professor Rosser is the reason I even made an account. I want to make sure no other students sign up for her blindsided! She will go out of her way and try and trick students on HOMEWORK problems. (Ex. Saying she messed up on the homework review in class on purpose to make sure everyone was paying attention) Basically you can't even trust HW review

I bet you're Ibus or econ. HAHAHAHAHAHA good luck. This class is a ton of work. Each week you have a 3 page paper due on a topic that isn't related to class material. You also have homework assignment due each class that you must do otherwise you can't take her tests. Also, you have to watch online lectures outside of class. Shes very unclear too.

Not a great professor but she's very knowledgeable and is willing to help you if you ask. If you want to pass her class go to the PASS sessions before testsquizzes and do all the readings. The book makes everything so much easier to understand. You'll have to work for a good grade but you'll learn a lot. Made me decide to minor in Econ.

She can't teach. She's funny and knows what she talks about, but her tests are insanely difficult. She's funny and gives out extra credit, but only if you know the extremely difficult material. Take someone else if you need a good grade.
