I had her for Eng I, Eng II and Shakespeare. And I'll keep coming back to her classes. She is almost incomprehensible. I laugh when she laughs, because I can't hear. But she is so passionate about her subject. Do you know any other 150 year old lady that will leap across the room to re-enact the battle between Beowulf and Grendel? I don't think so!

I LOVE Professor Perret. She is a tough grader and has REALLY high standards, but if you do the work she's fine. I graduated in 2005, and she was my mentor. She has a passion for her subjects that I could only hope to pass on to my own students.

I met Dr. Perret my freshman year in Shakespeare. I had suffered the watered down verison in high school, so getting the full perspective was great. She is an amazing scholar and anincredible person to know. In addition to being my teacher and advisor, she is a friend. One recommendation though. Don't make my mistake and miss out on her "Visions of Hell" class.
