I cannot believe Bertus is gone. He was with out a doubt the best teacher I have ever experienced in my 16 years of being a student. He was the most honest, straightforward, and caring teacher I have ever come across. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

GREAT professor! Very clear and very helpful! He lectures very well and is a blast in class. Ive never looked forward to an 8am until him. Its a hard course but he is more interested in your understanding and ability rather than memorizing formulas. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN! you wont be sorry!

He is wonderful! The material is hard but he understands that it is hard and takes time to explain it. He is very entertaining so that you aren't bored to death....TAKE HIM! Oh and he lets class out early a lot if material gets covered.

Take the class, and you will love finance. Dr. Bertus is extremely decent and reasonable. Very interesting and make hard material easy to digest. i have never seen abybody with better skills then Dr. Bertus when it comes to teaching. Honestly 45 mins class feels like 10mins class. He is very helpful, Just show him that you are working hard.

Loved the class and Bertus, was very upset in the end when I made an A the whole semester, after the exam which I studied hard for and felt I did real well, he gave me a B for the semester. Very Disappointed!!
