Mark is a fantastic professor, and the school is lucky to have him as the director of IMGD program. He is very enthusiastic about game education and does a great job of sharing that with his students. I also have him as an advisor and he gives great advice both about classes and general stuff.

If you have the energy to keep up with him, you can learn a lot. He talks far too quickly and paces across the room a lot. If you ask questions, they better be intelligent ones. The OS course is flawed in that the classes do not teach you what you need to know to do the homework. Classes are theory. You're expected to practice without help!

Talks WAY too fast to understand. Gave no hints as to where to look in the kernel to do our projects, makign them insanely difficult, and the TA's would just laugh at you. Passed but took it again with another teacher to understand it better.

Haha, this guy is awesome! Yes, he talks VERY fast, but if you don't understand something, he is incredibly helpful. Reading the textbook will also be very beneficial, too. Oh yeah, and he plays Warcraft III! ^_^
