Dr. D isn't so bad himself. The problem is that you don't learn anything in other spanish teacher's classes so when you get to the master you don't know anything and he assumes that if you're taking 202 you learned stuff in 101-201 so his class is hard. But if you work hard for him he'll recognize that and give you the grade you worked for.

VERY HARD CLASS but learned more in 1 semester than all the other 3 combined. Doesn't give tests reviews or "participation" grades. You will get the grade you deserve. I barely passed but would recommend him for anyone who wants to learn, very helpful, makes time for his students.

The most enthusiastic, hard working teachers I have ever had. Does not tolerate lazy students (most who slam him are not willing to do the work). If you want to learn the language, this is the guy to take (doesn't treat you like you in high school like some of the other Spanish professors).
