LOVE him! I took his intro to statistics class and it was great! Math is my hardest subject but Prof. Gwydir made it extremely easy to learn and understand! I highly recommend him for this class, especially if you're like me and have a hard time with math. He makes the subject interesting and encourages questions. By far the best math Prof at NCC.

Just have to say this guy is the man. I have transferred out to a 4 yr school, and my main class is all about population biology(applied stats). No one else in my class has a clue what is going on b/c our prof is terrible, but thankfully Gwydir was an awesome prof at Nassau (along with many others) and I totally get it. good stuff :))

Professor Gwydir is a great professor. His class is extremely difficult but he is always willing to help. He goes out of his way to make sure his students pass. I attended every class but still had difficulty but Professor Gwydir just wouldn't let me give up. He got me to pass the class. Thanks Professor Gwydir!!!

He is a great prof. Extremely clear. and the hw is the test, just with different numbers, and a few theory/definition questions. Have to get the text. I recommend the winterim class, easy A in 3 weeks! 5 tests, 1 is dropped. tip: take mat109(if you have to anyway) first. you'll understand the concepts better, and already have the calculator.

this was a hard class. not recommended for winterim or summer sesson. He is a nice guy, but his class is very advanced. I went in highly motivated and by the third week wanted to quit school.Must study HARD!

He is a nice Professor knows his stuff, but his class is very advanced. I do not recommend this class in winterim or summer, unless you previously taken and confident. His test are part multiple choice, fill-ins and can be a little confusing. I entered very motivated and by the third week, wanted to quit school. Stats takes alot of memorizations!

I hate Math; never been good at it. Professor Gwydir makes everything easy to understand. He will go over things until you fully understand and reviews prior to every exam as well as lets you know what kind of questions will be on it. He really is one of the best math professors i have ever had. Take his class, you will not regret it!

Took his night course. HE IS AWESOME!!!!! so clear and concise on everything he teaches. Homework IS the TEST! he practically hand feeds you everything he teaches and tests on. Dont be late, dont be on your phone and always bring your calculator. best math teacher ever!

Best , best , best . Took his 3 hour stat class , yes I forgot everything by next class but thats Stat for ya . But he is thorough , clear , concise . Very helpful . Nice guy . Seemed understanding with lateness in the evening class . Drops the lowest grade and the final is optional .

He's such a great teacher. I'm awful at math but I got a B+ with him. It's really important to him that you bring your textbook and calculator every class (but he's nice enough to lend you his if you forget). There's no reason you shouldn't do well with him but if you aren't he gives you the option of dropping after the 4th (out of 5) test.
