Comment:
Mark Kelland will spend most of the class finding way to brag about himself. The good part? You don't have to show up and you don't have to read his book (Yes, he wrote it. It gives him an opportunity to talk about himself more) just memorize his worksheets. Each quiz is word-for-word off it. Truly a fail in education.

This is one of best professors I have had at LCC. He gives you the information up front and has set deadlines. As long as you do the work you will get an A.

I took this class online and it was the easiest class I've ever taken. He makes a simple course schedule at the start of the semester and has short discussion posts that you'll get full points for as long as you respond to it. quizzes are easy and he makes a great study guide for the final exam, you'll pass as long as you do the work!

Class was very simple and easy. The professor seemed kind but did not participate much. Not sure if he ever read any of the discussion. However layout of the class organized and simple, and class was very lax. Class is graded by few things so it is important to make sure you do everything. Do it yourself, kind of class.

the online course was a waste of my time. i learned absolutely nothing and got nothing out of this class. if you're trying to just pass a simple class, sign yourself up. but if you'd like to get your money's worth and actually learn something do not take a class with this professor.

he didn't really teach me much, really just personal questions that don't include the terms or much criteria. he did not prepare me for the exam, but passing the class was not hard because it was all based on easy questions about your life

Study guides are easy to follow. He makes his expectations clear from the start. Do the assignments and you'll do fine.. He is fair and the same rules apply to all. His assignments are not so hard that there is no reason not to get them done. Many of his life experiences relate to the subject matter at hand. Fun, up front and straight forward prof

He is a cool guy, very opinionated though. His syllabus maps out exactly what is in the course and the study guides for his quizzes are exactly what is on them. His lectures are dry and long, but interesting. Would take again.

This class was a true disappointment. It was not worth the money. You cold become more rounded doing some google searches on the subject. Mark is a fun guy but I did not get the vibe he cared much about other peoples' growth. No textual resources for the class. This really annoyed me. Take this class 2017 and there will be a free textbook.

I personally love him as a teacher. but i can see why some dont. if you like psychology a lot, dont mind personal stories, and want an easy a, then take him. most people just show up on quiz day, you can look over study guide for 20 mins and get a 4.0 in the class. but i personally love listening to his stories. very interesting man.

He's someone who's been in the field (all over it) for forever and knows what he's talking about. His tests are straight-forward multiple choice and there was one presentation (5mins, I talked directly to him through it). A funny guy who is clearly brilliant but won't make you feel stupid. Easy to relate to. I regret not taking more classes withhim

Super easy course. I took it online and it took about 30 mins on Sunday night before the 1 discussion question per week was due. Literally easier than any 7th grade class. No HW and you learn absolutely nothing. However, it counts as credit.

Horrible Teacher! If you do take his class, only show up on quiz days! He is always talking about his ex wife and "extremely smart kids" and anything else that doesn't have to do with the class. Easy 3 credit course overall though.

Teacher is excellent. All tests except final are taken at home. Discussion post once a week which helps students learn concepts. Tests may be taken near end of semester which is helpful for online students. Teacher gives a good final exam study guide. Teacher teaches for success of student. Excellent

You could get a 4.0 without ever attending a single class, which in my opinion is the way to go due to the fact that nothing is learned in class except for the fact that he is a depressed jack-ass. I learned more about his ex-wife and his kids than I have about psychology. This class is an easy A though, just be prepared for his arrogance.
