He almost never got through his lectures and always let discussions go on and off on tangents. He was a little disrespectful if you didn't agree with his opinion or point of view. He is also a ridiculous grader, on my midterm he took off marks because I answered using definitions in HIS notes rather than from the textbook directly....

Seemed in perpetual shock about the low quality of his students, but never rude about it. Funny and engaging, even when he would become confused about us or the material, one of the better experiences of my philosophy years.

I had him for logic - terrible at explaining things, offered support but was not helpful. At least he was nice, entertaining, and a fox. If you rely on instructor's being good at instructing, find a different prof.

He was always unprepared for lecture, and was blatently wrong on several topics. The lectures were simply a waste of time, reading from the book would have been a much better use of the hour.

Quizzes at the beginning and end of class kept me awake and focused for sure. Didn't hurt either that this prof is lively and funny and knows his material super well. Great explanations and examples. And he fits his nickname: "Silver fox."

Adorable, hilarious, really nice guy. I can never get through a class without him cracking me up at some point. Very intelligent, always considers student opinions and tries to dig out what he can from them. The only downside is he's married ;)!

It was a difficult class in general, and he did the best he could with it. He's an extremely intelligent guy, and put alot of effort into being what most people thought a fair prof to be. Good class, thank goodness I passed!

Class was entertaining at times, and he seems to enjoy teaching. Very easy course, yet he didn't seem to know a lot of the material himself. The weight of the marking in the course seemed very skewed. Certain sections of the course received a very large weight on our mark while others received none at all.
