OK, he is the toughest professor I have ever met. There were only 2 exams during the whole semester which are the mid-term and the final. Yes! There will not be any assignment, which means there will be no any opportunity to get extra points. About his lecture, only ppt without any words on it. The lecture is fast and boring.

Literally such a boring class, you only have two grades which is a midterm and final both are essays, which you get points taken off for incorrect spelling and grammar. The class is based only on lectures, and he doesn't put information on slides for you to visually see what's being said. Not allowed to use laptop for notes, can only write by hand.

Hes a nice guy but I would not recommend taking this course unless you are ready to show up to every class. Your grade is devised from only two things, a midterm and a final. However, for every class you miss you will have 3 points deducted from your final grade. Though he grades much more leniently than you might expect.

Attendance is a grade! There is only 2 grades in the class, a midterm and a final. All of it is focused on ancient civilization and then the midterm and final is a timed writing exam. If you skip a class you get 3 points off your final. It is entirely lecture, no technology is allowed or you gets points off. The lecture is crazy long, bring coffee!

Dr. McLeod is hands down one of the best history profs. Be warned: his class is incredibly hard. All lecture, and you have to listen closely to get the notes. There's two exams (midterm and final) and that's your entire grade. With that being said, I have never learned so much from a professor. It's hard, but if you love Asian history, TAKE IT.

The entire class was lectures. Attendance is mandatory. You only get two grades, the midterm (one in class essay) and the final (two essays). Offers some small extra credit. He knows his history, but made some statements that are simply false or just his opinions on other subjects. He also injects his politics where it isn't remotely related.

You should enjoy history to take this class, it's straight lecture and a lot of information, but I found this professor to be really good. He gives outlines before every class which is helpful so you know what to take notes on & you only have 2 exams (1 essay for exam 1 and 2 essays for exam 2) and he gives you the questions ahead of time to study

He's not the nicest guy, realizing that it's college most professors will be kinda stuck up, but he's straight up arrogant and talks down to you. Not a fan.

The class is composed entirely of lectures. The lectures tend to be boring and attendance is mandatory. You will lose points from your final grade every time you miss a class. He also does not allow laptops for notetaking. There was no graded homework. The midterm and final are daunting but he grades them easier than you would think.

Every class is 100% lecture. New topic every time. Memorize everything and write fast. There are two grades. The midterm is one essay worth 1/3 of your grade. The final is two essays worth 2/3. For each you get 5-7 possible questions early. Study like mad. On the test, you get either 2 or 3 questions and you can skip one of them.

Does nothing but talk at you for the class period so be ready to keep up with him talking. And it'll also be expected you're a history buff when exam time comes around. Intelligent guy but not the greatest teacher.

Dropped my double history major after taking this class. He knows his stuff, but focuses on all the wrong things. He has a sick interest in some horrific events and not ones that are actually relevant. Only 2 exams, questions given ahead of time, but he's tough on grading. Claimed there would be EC, but never heard of it again after syllabus week.

Bruh he has to be the most boring teacher I have ever had. His voice in monotone and just puts you to sleep. I love history and have always gotten good grades with my professors but it's not enough opportunities in this class to succeed. No true need to attend the lectures but if you miss then that could hurt you.

I have taken McLeod for three classes now and gotten A's in all 3. Its not an easy A by any means, but you can bring him outlines before exams and he will tell you exactly what you need to add to get a perfect score. Super helpful if you go to him and his lectures are awesome. Definitely one of my favorite professors!

He's a great professor but a very tough grader. No electronics whatsoever allowed in his lectures and if you get caught it's three points off your grade. Skip a class and it's another three points off your grade. His lectures were very good and he really knows his stuff. But I would avoid taking his class because of how difficult it is.

McLeod genuinely does not care if you pass his class or not. There are only two opportunities for a grade: The Midterm and the Final. Both are in-class essays, which are completely subjective and you may not feel that you deserve the grade. His lectures are long and very little of it is useful for the essay. I would NOT recommend this class!

Dr McLeod is the most intelligent professor I've had at UD. Every time you miss a class three points come off your final grade which consists of a midterm and a final. He's a great teacher and really knows his stuff, a real nice guy too. He gives great reviews before tests and makes the material make sense.
