had this class as my last classes at GCC. I saw that I got B. Emailed him to see if we can go over the final. He gave me B just because my points for the whole semester was ONLY ONE point short of A. He told me to go back in couple days & he would change it. Went back with a cake & punk said he never said he would change it. Never forget that day!!

I took him several times in different classes a few years ago and I still tell people about him. He is one of the best teachers at GCC I have ever had. He is a passionate individual and loves his topic. He makes the subject interesting, and I actually changed my major because of him. Great teacher, please take him.

MORE POWER! He is the best!! He goes over the test 15min BEFORE the test, just remember what he says. I had his Soc S132. Yes his tests are a little hard, Yes he makes you to buy LA Times everyday, Yes you have to come everyday to the class but look at it, its college! He keeps the class so interesting at all time that U wont even notice the time.

Well, first of all, his tests are tricky, because he expects us to know everything. I have PoliSci 101 now, he treats us as politicians, not students. It is amazing many students don't even show off on classes but get an easy A because they have the tests and just cheating.Though the rest of the class suffers and gets low grades. Unfair.Disgrace.

It was such an interesting class. Hes VERY good, extremely intelligent. The class was hard though. A lot to read, and the tests were tricky. I struggeled to maintain a B. I learned a lot, but it sure took a lot of effort. Take notes of which questions you got wrong on the tests because the final questions are repeats. I did it and knew all the Q+As

amazing teacher, genius, got me interested in learning and am now pushing to get A's, it's been a year since i took his class and A's are the only grades i've gotten. Making social science a minor. Totally interesting guy and very helpful and reasonable. You won't regret his class, it's life changing, he teaches you how to think.

This guy is truly amazing. He knows EVERYTHING. He's very interesting and references a lot of books and movies. He's friendly, funny and encourages independent thought. I enjoyed every single class and am looking to have him again in the spring. Highly recommended, easily the best at GCC.

I completely recommend this teacher. I was not looking forward to taking political science for the summer but Mr. Romano made the class so great. He includes the newspaper to make the students aware of what's going on in the world. Need to study the basic things but his test are not difficult. Totally recommend Mr. Romano

Wow - a teacher I still remember. I took him quite a few years back for a political science class I needed (105 or 106 I think). He opened up a door and created a passion in me for governmental affairs!I wanted to come to class; a sure sign of an awesome teacher. Even if you have no interest in PS he will create one in you. A must take teacher!

Fun, easy, enjoyable class. BRILLIANT, down-to-earth, FAIR, comedic, professor. Questions on tests are EXACTLY what he discusses in class & repeats important things many times--> trust me the tests are easy! I regret taking him in the winter b/c the class ended too soon!
