Mark is honestly hilarious, and pretty straightforward. He urges participation. If you show up for class and at least turn something in for each assignment (there are 3), you'll get an A. He provides constructive criticism and aims to get you ready for real-world scenarios with clients, etc. He doesn't spend much time teaching the software, however

Not a useful class for the most part. Pros: -Easy class -Interesting teacher Cons: -Forces learning of Adobe Director (Outdated and was last updated in 2013; replaced by Adobe Animate. No one uses this anymore.) -Posts grades at end of semester. -Believes in a "Benevolent Dictatorship." -You don't learn to code your projects, he does it for you.

The class is pretty easy, but he's so annoying. He has a squeaky voice and repeats things over and over. One time we had the SAME lecture four times in a row. So work on projects is gradual until the end, then it's rushed. If you ask him questions, he doesn't give you an answer and is roundabout and condescending.

This class may be easy but you are not learning up to the standard that is required for success in the industry. He cant answer your questions because he doesn't know the software and he's teaching it! If you want an easy A by all means take his class but you will not learn a damn thing.

Mark is really fun and passionate about what he teaches. He gives very constructive criticism, but sometimes it can turn into a lecture more than a critique. He's really nice and always willing to help as long as you ask, plus he's an advisor so you can take advantage of that and ask him questions in class. Overall the class is really fun

fun class. you are in class the whole time but it makes it so you don't have homework. two really easy tests. Casual class that goes by fast. teacher is helpful once you get his attention and gets really excited about the projects(which is always fun/funny)

So fun and really easy! The class is long, but you're on computers the whole time and can do whatever you want online. The projects are interesting and he really helps you with them and gives more time than needed- Strongly suggest taking him!

Class is a ton of work. There is a lot to learn though. The class is director more for multimedia majors than graphic designers. Too many projects and the most important portfolio project is basically done on your own time.

illustrater? moniter? how did you kids get into college? anyway, Sipruit is a great guy. His methods can be a little odd: eg.640x480. But it is more about following creative directions. In web design, banner creative, etc., you will always have funny dimensions to work with. Work with what you got. As far as director goes, which is not very far anymore, it was fun learn. Sipruit is a good guy and was always there when I had questions about work/scheduling etc.

Very nice guy. Easy class, but be prepared to spend 6 long hours a week in there because he takes attendence. Learned a lot about photoshop, illustrater, and dreamweaver.

Nice, but gets kinda argumentative one on one. Content is mostly relevent. Course is good for anyone wanting to start out in web design. Forces the designs to fit on a 640x480 moniter though, kinda out-dated.

Good teacher, pushes you to think more, the class is a benefit to any future job. You might not be able to use any of the projects for your portfolio but the things you learn in the class are really benefial to an interactive portfolio
