Extremely brillant man, and you will learn more then you ever hoped to learn.Unfortunatly his attitude is awful and he is an arrogant egomaniac.he practicly gives you the test and is always in his office but he is a mean nasty piece of work. Take him at your own risk because it's advanced philosophy.His attitude ruins the class, which is a shame.

If you actually are interested in Philosophy then you'll enjoy the class. However, most people don't care about Philosophy and are looking for an easy A. In this case do not take him. You'll end up with a B at best, no matter how hard you try. Just take an easier professor and then make way for the classes that really matter in life.

Excellent teacher, very helpful as long as you look for help because he won't "spoon feed" you anything. He has a seemingly un-ending knowledge of Philosophy however he is EXTREMELY difficult. By no means is his class an easy A,B, or C, but you will definately learn.

Worrell gets a bad rap but i don't agree...true, it is a difficult class and he has a strict attendance policy...but i think he's a good guy and you can really learn a lot from him, he is always always in his office if you need anything...likes people who participate...i liked going to his class and its not as bad as people say

I'm not a nerd, but I have to admit that although taking Worrell's class was very demanding and mind-boggling, it was actually very motivating. I hated him at times, but most of the times I really admired him. He is one intelligent man. Take him only if you're up for a challenge.

A very kind man, but his language is very sophisticated when explaining concepts in class, so be prepared to figure out alot of the material on your own. He does offer extra help, although, he still refrains from using "layman's terms" even when you are confused with concepts. Just be prepared to work really hard and understand on your own

He is THE hardest teacher I have ever had. I got a B in his class and wrote over 85 pages single space of text for his class. I also learned more in that class than any other I have EVER taken He is super smart and doesn't tolerate stupidity. If you love philosophy and enjoy rigor take his class

very good and very smart, but he knows it and makes you feel stupid if you dont get something. material is quite interesting and classes were never boring. but forget missing a class or showing up late. he's also huge on participation. team debates are mentally exhausting. movies are really good.

Take this class only if you want to be tortured!It's awful! I admit he's intelligent, and certainly knows his stuff, but he just expects way too much! We had to watch 8 movies outside of class, and write a 10 page min paper for our final exam in 2 hours! Grading is tough, so don't expect an A!
