Comment:

Super hyper and sweet however is hard to understand what he's trying to explain. Gives you multiple chances to do late homework or assignments. Goes over the whole test the day before the test. He means well but his class can go 5050. Not that hard but not that easy either.

Dr. Thomas can go fast sometimes during lectures, but is very helpful during labs and makes sure that everyone is understanding the material and is very helpful to all students. He is nice and is always upbeat and in a good mood.

I was stuck with a bad advisor in freshman year and was placed in an advanced CS class. I had to drop it and I lost 4 credits. I now take CS 140 with Thomas, and he is super nice, helpful, and he knows how to teach people (like me) with learning problems. All of his tests are based on his powerpoint presentations. He wants you to do well.

He is really nice and he makes the class very easy. The few homeworks are nothing and the tests are easy as well. I'd definitely recommend him. He lets you out early practically every class, sometimes we were only there for twenty minutes.

Very easy class.If you want an A, take this teacher. If you want to learn about the history of CS, this is a good course but as far as learning how to navigate through complex programs like Visual Basic, it's not a good class to take. I recommend it for all those just trying to satisfy the core.
