Great teacher! She tends to talk a lot in class, but she's genuinely interested in what the students think. You read a novel, write a 2 page paper and take a 5 point quiz every week. Simple. 2 papers and 1 final. She graded the papers really hard and the final covered authors we never even read, but overall it's a good class.

Very nice woman. You read a book a week (keep in mind though, very few of them are over 200 pages). Quizzes every Tuesday and a response paper every Thursday. Two 4-5 page papers. Some work required but it really is pretty straightforward and easy.

I have never been a confident writer at all but Sprague breaks down the paper into a 4page paper then you build on it throughout the whole semester until you get 12+ pages. She loves reading drafts and giving feedback. I feel much more confident in my writing and actually got a 96 on my final 12 page paper, my first A paper bigger than 6 pages

She isenthusiastic and generally wants students to succeed. She can occasionally be unclear in explaining assignments and you will definitely want to keep track of your progress as her organization skills are scattered. I followed up with my scores and should have an A, but she gave me an A - I'm still working on sorting that out with her.

Dr. Sprague is a great professor. Her assignments are very clear and she makes it obvious why this class is important. I was worreid about this class before I took it, and after words, I couldnt have been more wrong. Good experience.

I had a wonderful semester with Dr. Sprague and would love to take classes with her in the future! I recommend her to anyone. I write papers well and still learned a lot in her class, she really teaches you how to write a darn good paper and improve upon your existing skills. I earned my A. :)

Dr. Sprague is an easy, helpful, energetic, understanding, and fair teacher. No tests, no quizzes. Only assignments are short reviews of the textbook articles and the paper/powerpoint presentation. Overall, come to class you get an A or B. The paper/ppt is easy, 10-15 pages. All you do is choose an educational topic and research it. Good class.

She's a great teacher and is really passionate about education. She's willing to go the extra mile to help with research and writing. Some short writing assignments and one big paper. Class is sometimes boring but she really knows her stuff.

Dr. Sprague is a very nice lady, she reminds me of a kindergarten teacher in many ways. This isn't a bad thing though. She knows a lot about the English language and education. Be prepared to write a fair amount, but also be prepared for a good time.
