Comment:

Likes to lecture and is somewhat knowlegable about what he is teaching. However, his tone of voice and use of the phrase "And So Forth" (of which he said like over 100 times in an hour and 15 min class!) make him a horrible professor! Tests are difficult if you don't study and maps are out of date and confusing! Don't TAKE HIM!!!

Comment:

He really dosnt teach you much so you end up teaching yourself during the weekly activities. He's a nice guy if and when you ever talk to him. Lectures for about 15min in a 3 hour class then your on your own. This class is an easy A though.

Lectures were devoid of enthusiasm and Mr. Stevenson would frequently lose his train of thought. He often gave us incorrect information which we then were asked to erase or cross out. His map keys were embarrassingly out of date & his study guides included typos. He was upset when he had to answer his own questions in class. Not fun to go to class.

Horrible class and horrible teacher. Defintely knows the subject but isnt helpful and class is confusing. He says "and so forth" ALOT (this kept me awake in class.. counting the times) the tests are hard if you dont study.. I highly discourage you to take this course with this professor!

he gets really frustrated when no one in class knows the answer so speak up (correctly) to get on his good side. the tests aren't hard as long as you take notes in class and read from the book. participation is your way to success in this class!

This class is easy for me so his teaching doesnt bother me. He talks for about 30 mins and then gives you a packet and then sits in his office. I see others having issues with the class so I stay later and try to help them understand it. when you ask him to explain, he just repeats himself, not very helpfull of a teacher

I'm not good at any sciences except for biology, so this class is a little confusing. I think it is a little confusing. There's a lot of things to remember, but if you do your work, it should be fine...like someone else above said: take...do the work...get an A...and get on with life.

JOKE of a teacher, he has no place in this department. Like someone else said - reads right from the book. I also fall asleep in this course. NO HELP whatsoever. I asked for help multiple times with no response. ANd expects you to dish out money for color copies & the like for throwaway homework

Not as bad as other ratings say. He's a nice guy, but is to the point in lecture. Exams are relatively easy as long as you can memorize really well for the map questions.
