Comment:

Dr. Goshaw is amazing. You dont have to be good at math to do well in her classes. She is very patient and always makes sure everyone is on the same page. Always give reviews before exams and lets you bring a cheat sheet of formulas into tests. She does give a lot of homework but honestly it ends up boosting your grade at the end. LOVE Dr. Goshaw.

Professor Goshaw was absolutely amazing!!!! I took calculus online and was a little worried about it at first but I would take this course over again in a heart beat. Very organized and I never once questioned what needed to be done or when it was due. Unfortunately she is retiring but she was by far one of the most amazing professors I've ever had!

Professor Goshaw is AMAZING!! I cannot begin to describe in only 350 characters what an awesome professor she is. EXTREMELY helpful, she will always take the time to help any student who will help themselves. I have always been a very poor math student and I got an A in Statistics w/ her. Put in the time and effort, you can easily pass this class.

This professor's hybrid class is great! The textbook is confusing but she does a great job explaining difficult concepts. She is extremely helpful, gives lots of extra credit and truly wants her students to succeed. There are a lot of assignments and quizzes, but if you put in the work and really pay attention, this is not a hard class.

I took the hybrid class and struggled at first. There were assignments due every two days. LEARN STATCRUNCH! It is very similar to Excel. The formulas are insane in the later chapters. Professor is very clear and is willing to help. Take advantage of the extra credit.

I only met Professor for one of her review sessions and the final exam. She is very nice and accommodating to your needs. However, this class requires a lot of your time. It was a teach it yourself kind of course which I struggled because of it. I would have preferred to have taken it on campus because of how sweet she was and how clear she was.

There is a lot of work and time that is required for an online course, more so if it's a math course. Expect to spend a lot time completing work. Professor on the other hand is extremely helpful and makes adjustments for you if needed, I don't blame the professor for this hard class. She's great!!

Took the Hybrid Statistics class. Moderate level of work outside class. I struggled with the homework but made up for it on the tests. You can do everything using stat crunch on the computer so if you know that program you're pretty much set. If i was able to finish all the assignments I would have gotten an A.

I took this Calculus class online and was shocked at all of the discussion postings required. I can understand having a forum there for help but required? I didn't have much trouble with this subject as an online course but it is definitely for someone who can learn on their own from the book. Not much involvement from the instructor.

Took her online Stat class. I don't like math at all but Prof. Goshaw is a GREAT teacher. She provides a ton of resources (hint: StatCrunch is your friend!) She gives good feedback even if it sometimes takes a while. If you take it online you have to study hard, but you can do it. I was afraid I would fail this class but I got an A!

She is a terrible teacher. Does not help you at all and you could do all of the work, but she will make sure to not give you full credit. It is so ridiculous. She is hard and does not explain clearly. I even attended one of her review sessions held at the campus and I walked out knowing LESS than I went in with. Would not recommend to anyone.

Not only do you have weekly online homework and quizzes but she gives you a homework sheet that is due each class period and it is on the material that she will teach that class period.She expects you to learn it on your own from the book which she has written/

Take her class! She is one of the most helpful teachers I have ever had. She let me bring in HW late a few times when I ran into some personal issues. She really cares about her students doing well. Simply do the homework and quizzes, you should have no problem passing with an A or B. Her tests are really not that hard compared to online HW we did.

She is talented and clarifies well when asked about a problem. However, she is not prompt in replying to e-mails since i took her online class. The other thing i did not like about her was she does not offer any opportunity to make up a test or wouldn't give enough extra credit quiz or work that would be enough to change a grade.

Would absolutely recommend this Mrs. Goshaw! I had her for Calculus & it is evident that its very impt to her that her students do well. She went out of her way to help me improve my grade several times through out the semester. She is great about responding in a timely fashion. Communication is key! Best Proffessor I've ever had!

Hybrid Class- She is an outstanding professor who wants her student to do well. However, the material is hard so YOU MUST put 100%. PRACTICE before doing the online HW and Quizes then you'll find them easy. Her labs are long and Tests(in classroom)are not too difficult if you studied. The Final is worth 20% and it is hard.
