Easy class if you go and watch the movies and take notes. But Logsdon isn't very helpful. Shes stuck in her way, and sometimes her questions can be tricky on the test, I would even call them bad questions.

Lots and lots of material with a lot of reading from the books. Movies are alright, there's outlines to answer from the videos. Tests are fairly easy but essasy's are kind of hard. Very knowledgable but somewhat boring.

I wasnt very excited to take the class, but it ended up being pretty good. She is a good teacher, VERY knowlegeable. There is quite a bit of reading, but the lectures are just as informative or more informative than the reading, so you dont always have to read. She tells you what you need to know for the test in class, so if you go you will be fine

This class was easy if you went, watched the movies, filled out episode guide, and listened to her lectures. Knows her stuff and makes it really interesting; I learned a lot and liked the material. However, Martha can be a bit of a senile old bat. Cranky and picky when it comes to papers/essays.

I loved this class. Go to class every day and pay attention to the movies. I actually find her lectures interesting and helpful, because she tells you what you NEED to know. Knowledgeable woman! Tests are easy so long as you study from the guide. I only read once for a response we had to write on a reading. I learned SO much!

This class really isn't hard at all. You go to class and watch a movie everyday. Her class discussions are boring because nobody really wants to participate! Tests are super easy if you study from the study guide! I would recommend her to anyone!

Movies are okay to watch, she gives writing assignments but, they are pretty easy. Lectures are really really boring which is sad because they could be fun, she's very smart and you will learn a lot if you can force yourself to pay attention but, she's dull. Exams aren't bad if you use the study guides.

I really like learning about the Civil Rights Movement, and the videos aren't too bad to watch, but lecture? Boooooring. I want to fall asleep. She's a nice lady, but seems hard to approach & discussions in class never work. Study guides are really helpful for the exams though. Not too bad.

Lecutres are boring, but you need to be there for all the notes. The tests aren't too bad if you use the study guides. The book is crucial for her class, so buy it. The few papers that you have to do aren't too bad either. You can't half-a$$ everything...do the work and you'll do fine.
