i am not as concerned with his teaching as i am with his marking. you can get a question perfectly right and he wont give you the full marks. yet he doesn't really justify why he does this. sometimes he just seems too unclear in what he is looking for.

a really nice guy. approachable. one of the few who doesn't obviously pick favourites. although he does have a very monotonous voice and as such i have even drifted off when talking to him one on one.

his lectures may be dry, but sure does know his stuff. he can also liven up a bit if you get him going on the right subject. he had a few interesting things to say about lego, for example, after he found a piece on his desk one day.

one of the nicest id profs. sometimes vague in what he is looking for. yes, the class can be very boring and hard to stay awake at times, but you learn a lot of important stuff that helps you in the technical side of your design work.
