He is a good teacher, good sense of humor. doesnt like laziness, sit in front he will like you better. the difficultitly is only as difficult as you make it. read the text and you will be fine. Do the papers, they dont have to be perfect but he is a hard grader.

Jerk. Very difficult to follow. Also grades like Hitler. I wrote a paper over the Black Death and received a D+. Blew my mind, it was at worst, a C+ paper. He also loves to make up his own grading scale, such as C=, and so on. He's an extreme bore. He does give you a test bank before any exams though, so you can just look over the tests.

This guy is hilarious! Or at least he thinks so! He repeats himself tremendously! He knows his history, and I was actually interested in the class. If you show up to class and take notes, it is impossible to receive a bad grade. He makes fun of overweight people, diabetics, and mentally ill people often! But I think the good outweighs the bad.

Spent the first 20 minutes of class everyday going over policies and procedures. He is very stubborn and set in his ways, he knows his history but his lecturing style is very incoherent which makes note taking difficult. Don’t take him if you offend easily, he sometimes crosses the line (e.g. he openly degraded overweight people several times).

He was horrible, the history that he taught was totally from his biased opinion of what was important and what wasn't. Very, very rude. He offended at least everyone in the class except for the gamers. But if you want an A without doing any work this is the man to take if you can stand to attend his rude, offensive, and very boring lectures.

Very rude - that's hard to get past. Quirky at best. I think he did a pretty good job offending almost everyone there. Don't tape without permission - he'll freak out. I had to go to his office hours a couple times with questions about papers and whatnot, even wierder one on one than in lecture. Uses an old commodore (we're talking 1980s) to keep grades on... wow.
