A Nice Guy. Very demanding at times, sometimes even Draconian but its all for the music. And he does get us to play the best we can. But I do live in constant anxiety about some spur of the moment command to play some obscenly difficult passage all by my self. And what is up with the tuning rage?!

Marty is a destructive, horrible teacher. If you think he's going to help you succeed, you are dead wrong! If you are studying trumpet with him, you might as well drive over the horn with your car. Both will have the same effect on your career. You will never get one. This man should retire now!!!!

I constantly find myself in fear of him lashing out or forcing me to play things by myself. I guess it's one way to interact with students, but I don't find it very effective. Not bad overall though - it's a pretty fun course
