Professor Dooley is the best professor I have had the pleasure of taking a class with at McMaster. He truly cares about teaching you the fundamentals of Economic Methods and gives great feedback on how to improve. He is someone who is genuinely concerned with each student's learning experience and is always available via email or office hours.

Great professor. Really helped further my understanding of how to write a research paper and how to interpret data. He provides good feedback on rough drafts provided you get them to him on time, and also marks relatively easy. If you take this class with him, prepare for a bunch of presentations (but once again, easy to get high marks).

3F03 excellent prof. Best prof i've had in my four years at mac. Extremely helpful, and is willing to help you as long as you show you care about the course and your grade. You do have to work for your grade, but he will reward you for it.

He was a very interesting professor. Strongly emphasizes participation where almost 40% of our mark was (in)directly related to this. I hate labour/health/families, so this made the course drag for me. I found he graded according to a distribution that he had made up in his mind. Marking was unclear

Scheduled review session during an exam that approx 50% of his section had to write and refused to change it. Not a pleasant guy/intimidating. Dominant, and hard tests. VERY dry lectures.
