This professor is AMAZING in every aspect. He literally cares that his students understand the material and makes it very clear that he is happy to answer any questions. He is VERY clear about expectations and clear during his lectures. I would take only this professor if he taught every speech pathology course, and I recommend him to everyone

He is truly the definition of a GREAT PROFESSOR in every sense of the word. He is clear about the syllabus quizzes, midterm, and final. The lectures he administered were structured so that the information is manageable and understanding. Im looking forward to taking a class he teaches again. The best of the best! Take him!

Gitterman is probably the best professor at Lehman. He is the professor's professor. He makes sure that all students understand the material before moving forward with his lectures, and will literally call on each student to make sure of it. After taking his class I have retained much of the material.

Martin is a great professor I love his teaching style. All what you have to do is pay attention in class and make sure you do all of his homework and review his handouts to understand the lecture. It is a lot of things to learn but his classes are very interesting.

Amazing. Exams are very straight forward. You won't regret taking this man. Keep in mind that he only gives out 2 quizzes, a midterm and a final. So your overall grade is based on those 4 exams. If you participate it can help your overall grade.

I took Professor Gitterman for a summer semester (2015). I have to say he is one of the best Professors I have ever had. He makes sure that the students are all on the same page and he encourages his students to ask questions if something was not understood. You can not fail his courses just make sure you study his review sheets and ask questions!

Took his phonetics class, and would take any other class with him if I could! Prof. Gitterman knows his work,he is very helpful and makes you feel comfortable in class. The class wasn't too hard and he gave many many handouts which were very helpful. Take his class, you won't regret it.
