I completed Intro Sociology at Delgado CC with Professor Katz, and thought the course was amazing!! His teaching style is laid back, and the lectures are often times interesting open discussions. He is definitely one of the best instructors I've had in my college career.

This guy was the best professor I've ever had! Why was he just laid off from Delgado CC in New Orleans?! We need him! These people are crazy. I am outraged. I was looking forward to seeing him a lot more since taking his class had influenced me to taking on sociology as a major. I can't believe this. I need Professor Martin Katz back here now!

im not interested in theatre so this class was really boring. the teacher is rude too so you cant ask him to help you. you have to do a group project final. easy class if you do extra credit. he talks about whatever comes to the top of his head. random quizes so go to class cause thats the only part of your grade basically.

Excellent and fun professor with lots of creative group projects. You will know your classmates better than in other classes at SDSU. Class is easy if you like theatre. Every class day there are exercises and activities for children so you get to play most of the time. Great if you might want to be a teacher. He is an excellent resource for ideas!

Definitely the better theater teacher, you are doing something completely different every day, and mostly its very interesting, He brings in some weird people some times like the crazy aura lady, but mostly its a lot of fun. The final is very easy. And most of the quizzes are a free ten points.

Hands down, the most entertaining teacher I ever had. Even many years after I graduated, I still remember him fondly. I tell every future SDSU student to take his class! If they don't, they are fools! If you do not laugh constantly in his class, you have no sense of humor! Loved his opening day video and his general antics. You rock Martin!

If you really love theatre, take this guy, and if you really hate theatre, take this guy. He gives ten pop quizzes, but its just things that anyone can do. Overall he was great, eventhough theatre wasn't a subject that i was strong to begin with. I ended up with a B+, easiest and highest grade i got.

This is a good class to take if you really reallly are into theatre, time will fly by. If you're not that into theatre but want to raise your gpa and don't mind going to every class, defenitely take. Katz is awesome...very entertaining and fun class. He will force you to come out of your shell if you're shy. A few pop quizes (so try not to miss class), play reviews (from state plays), a group project, and a final. Go to the final review session and you should be good to go. Plus Katz is HOT HOT HOT (that's for you Katz!)
