Clear, articulate, and patient, Prof. Lang is probably one of the best types of professors, one who can effectively teach an intense subject such as religion. I did not think the class was overly difficult, though thoroughly informative and fair. Disregard other negative statements made by students because they are absolutely groundless. Take him.

AWFUL TEACHER. ONE OF THE WORST I'VE EVER HAD. Condescending, has no idea what he's talking about. Lectures are boring and if he doesn't like you he will not give you the grade you deserve. ****, oldfashioned and should be forced to retire. Made an interesting topic unbearable.

The material is somewhat interesting but his lectures are so boring. Not too difficult and he usually gives you the basic questions that will be on the tests. May be hard if you're looking to get an A. I didn't know much about the topics but i studied for the tests and ended up doing fine.

Took him twice - boring, but not hard ... no homework you don't have to do the assignments, but visit his office hours and he'll help you for the tests. i'd take him again, not bad, prolly wont get an A, but definitely at B+ at least.

I loved this class. Very interesting, he really knows his stuff and wants us to learn. Tests are easy if you can make a story out of his lectures; he'll even give you a list of the questions he's going to ask. Definitely take it! Love Lang!
