worst professor I've ever had. You will zone out so easily. I've learned nothing in his class I had to teach myself through google and tutoring. NEVER TAKE HIM!!!

He is a nice and easy professor. There are 2 tests & 1 final exam which are really easy. Each of the tests has extra credits. Do the homework then you'll get A on the test. I got A all the time (from 98 to 103). His lecture is kinda heavy, but not hard to understand. You might need to read the book to understand more.

Comment:
Tough grader multiple choice questions with up to five parts each and up to 6 options each. A real stickler for decimal points and rounding and changes the required rounding mid quiz and test and exam just to be difficult. Does not explain the material well. Often seems confused by his own notes. Makes all kind of errors himself.

Martin is a great person, but he is a terrible professor. There is no structure in the class and you will NOT follow the syllabus at all. His grading makes no sense, he does not have a clear point system. He makes you take quizzes all year and halfway in the semester he says they are for extra credit. If you want a passing grade, do not take him.

Rosman is a nice person, but is not a good professor. He doesn't explain the information well in class, it is better one on one. You have to read the book, he teaches the info like you know it already. Attendance is required and there's is a chance of extra credit if you have 100 percent attendance. The exams are harder than what is done in class

Professor Rosman was the most unclear math instructor I have ever dealt with. He is also rude and yells during class. I don't know if it was passion for the subject or him becoming annoyed with students not participating. Test are 80% of your grade, do not fail a test if you want to pass. I don't recommend him unless you have already taken stats.

He curves all exams. His lectures can be a bit confusing because he's always going off topic. He allows one week to do each lab and walks through it with the class. He's very clear about what he's going to put an exams and what he wants you to know. There was Homework on Connect for each chapter (unlimited attempts and you can check your answer).

He is unclear with the information, but he's nice and tries to make the class a little fun(his humor is old man humor; not for everyone). Do the homeworks (on connect) and show up to class and that will help your grade a lot. Study the homeworks for tests and create a study group for help. Most of it you have to teach yourself; book isn't used much

This course is challenging enough as is, and he does not make it easier. He is funny and nice, but extremely unclear about the content he taught in class. He writes the wrong things down on the board so unless a student tells him it's a mistake hes basically clueless. You basically have to teach yourself the content if you want to get a good grade.

Rosman is nice...to an extent. Even when you ask him to explain something, you're just as confused as you were in the beginning. I think he makes the class harder than it has to be and he makes things VERY boring. AVOID HIM for this class if you want an A or a high B. Otherwise, work your butt off for a mediocre grade. I just might have to retake.

This guy is so annoying to have to listen to in the morning..that is, if you can even pay attention to his monotone voice. But if you can, you cringe the way he pronounces some words,or the most annoying- he says "and the answer is..what" after EVERYTHING even if it's like 1+1 he'd be like "1+1 is..what? 2!" SO annoying. Tests aren't bad if u study

AVOID HIM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. I love math. I'm not amazing, but I got a 4 on my Calc AP exam in high school. Ol' Marty is a sweet old New England man, but he can't communicate. If math is at all challenging, drop the class. I found it disgustingly easy, but equally frustrating. If attendance wasn't mandatory, I never would have gone to class.
