Marty is unprepaired, unorganized, and a deeply un-qualified professor. In my opinion he is the worst professor i have had in my educational history. He is LATE for every class, never has notes, is constantly revising his formulas and theories and half the time has no idea what he's talking about. His tests are murder - (covernothing we've 'learned

Disorganized. Knowlegable but not know how to explain in clear ways to students. Frequently late for class or forget something. Tends to joke a lot. He is alright if only he is not so confusing.

This is probably the best professor at York University. He is very helpful, accessible and he is down to earth.. The guy is not stuck up, and does NOT treat students like they are nothing, as many other professors @ york tend to act like.

Funny & clear in lectures - althought they're a bit slow and don't seem to cover a lot of ground. Very difficult exam that went way beyond the reading/lecture material but not a bad experience considering how dry the subject of empirical theory is!
