Marty is a self-proclaimed Anglophile and it shows! He made Brit Lit a fun class with his references to Monty Python and The Beatles- something I certainly didn't expect. I was intellectually challenged at every turn and spent the semester wishing I had known about him when I had taken my comp classes. Highly recommend and his classes!!

I had marty for brit lit and he was great! He really gets off on the topic and that made his lectures interesting. Some of the literature itself was a complete snore, but he always has a story or something to make it more interesting.

Mr. Trapp is the best english teacher that I have ever had in my entire life!!!!!! he is funny, he has an absolute passion for what he does, and he can connect with you. i saw some students who hated English and just needed the credit, but at the end of the semester, they did not hate it as much thanks to Mr. Trapp making it interesting.
