Boooring! She's one of those teachers that teaches straight from the book and never leaves those confines. If you've had a music theory class, and no anything abour music history, you'll ace it. Otherwise, you'll almost ace it.

STOP, and run away from Mary Kay Adams. Super sweet lady, but she'll put you to sleep and there is really no point in going to class because she just reads straight from the powerpoint. THERE ARE ONLINE QUIZZES FROM THE TEXTBOOK WEBSITE. These quizzes make up about 50% of the test questions. Please do yourself a favor and don't take this class.

HORRIBLE TEACHER. Made me want to shoot myself. Class is DREADFULLY boring and SUPER easy. She teaches like she is an elementary school teacher. Not to mention she is rude. Also she bases WAY to much of your final grade on exams. Gives you lots of busy work that doesn't count worth anything. Find another teacher! She's a good way to ruin your day.

REALLY boring class. As long as you stay on top of the notes that are blackboard, you should be able to skip class and still get do well. Half of it is probably because of the number of idiots in the class, but she repeats herself over and over again and really does teach as if you're in elementary school.

Insultingly easy teacher. She acts like she's teaching 6th grade beginner band students instead of college students. She reads straight from the powerpoints, which are posted. Can read books for other classes or not go and STILL get an A. Doesn't even pronounce things right, have to wonder if she knows what she's really talking about.

music sounds like it would be a good class but she finds a way to kill the intrest. she reads off powerpoint the entire class and that is what your tests are based on, its straight forward so its not that hard just really boring.. i strongly urge looking for another class, music isn't as intresting as you think, or at least the way she teaches

HORRIBLE CLASS. Teacher has nothing to offer you other than what is in the book and even that is dumbed down. Extremely boring and a waste of your time. Take it if you dont mind an annoying class but just want an easy A. World music seems like it should be a really fun and interesting topic but mary kay will put you to sleep every time.

Very nice lady who loves music. Class isn't too exciting and is made up of taking notes off of PowerPoints for an hour. Occasionally she gets really frustrated because students don't answer her questions, so be prepared to be called on. If you go to class, it is an easy A.
