AMAZING TEACHER!!! Love her, she helps out her students beyond the necessary involvement. If you have any questions on assignments (especially the final paper) she gives great samples and does not mind explaining the assignment in a clearer way for you. Responds asap to emails (that was an A+ for me, personally)

Not the easiest class that I have ever taken, as I am not into Shakespeare, but Mary made this class fun and enjoyable! She has a passion for what she is teaching, which really helped me in this class! Watch movies, read plays, can use notes on tests. If you come to class, you will leave with knowledge and an A.

Mary Anne is amazing!! She is clear on her expectations of her students. Very caring. As far as assignments, make sure that you one way or another you get your assignments to her. Don't miss any assignments because it will and can bring your grade down. She will NOT take assignments past their due dates unless you have a valid excuse.

Comment:

Mary Ann is one of the best professors I have ever taken. She was caring towards all her students and incredibly helpful whenever anybody needed something. She didn't accept late homework, but if she caused you to be incapable of doing the work (i.e. didn't give you back your rough draft), she was very flexible. Easy A, but a fascinating class!

Mrs. Bretzlauf is a GREAT lady. She is willing to help out her students and tries to relate to them. However, I did find myself constantly checking the clock to see when class would be over. I wouldn't say I necessarily looked forward to her class. Her papers can be tough but if you put in the work you will get an A. You WILL be assigned reading!

ONLINE- very helpful & caring professor. always ready to help you & willing to do what it takes for you to understand. participation is key to helping your grade. 5essays & weekly BB discussion dealing with readings but she doesn't quiz you on it, just wants you to take the most out of the class. participate & follow her rubrics, easy A. recommend!

Professor Bretzlauf was an amazing teacher. She is very passionate about Shakespeare which makes being in the class much more enjoyable. She was pretty lenient with attendance (with good excuse) but she will deduct points if you're gone. You have to write a lot of journals for the class and the midterm and final are kinda tough. Fun class!

Mary Ann is probably my favorite English teacher at CLC. You can tell that she loves Shakespeare and she is super nice. Genuinely cares about her students. Provides great insights about the plays. It?s an easy class, but you still learn a lot from it. Take this class if you can. Wonderful teacher.

Comment:

She is definitely a teacher who genuinely cares about her students and is also very good at what she does. (plus an AC/DC AND a sox fan? what more can you ask for?!) One of the best, if not THE best teacher I've taken so far at CLC. I've taken her Intro to Shakespeare and Banned Books class. Definitely worth the while!
