Ms. Garrett is AWESOME. YES you will have to study and YES she does give quizes every lab but you can make an A. In the end it all helps you with your major because you remember the material. She is ALWAYS willing to help and will do ANYTHING in her power to help you make an A. I would tell you to take her but sadly she is retiring. :0(

Best teacher i have ever taken! Sweetest lady i have ever met! She was very clear to my class what was on practicals and would help you with anything! Gave candy before practicals. I think people get frustrated in her class because they come in thinking its going to be easy but A and P is not easy for some.. Easy if you study!! Take her shes great!

Okay so first of all this is a harder class so you cannot expect to not study! Ms. Garrett makes it really fun but she will quiz you over the material everyday! If you study you will do fine, I made a 97!! I like her so much Im taking her for 239!

Shes a really nice lady but she doesnt teach at all. You basically teach yourself by reading the lab manual. Shes VERY detail oriented. 10 pt quiz every class period and 3 practicals. Dont worry about printing off review sheets because they dont help. Know EVERYTHING for the practical. My bottom line adivce: Take Hitchcock instead.

This professor does not teach at all. Do not take her if you are expecting to learn from lecture. It's pointless. Try and see if you can outline the chapters before you go to class and remember to memorize EVERY peace of detail. I went to Hitchcock's labs and I learned more. If you can take him...do that instead. I had trouble with this class.

Mrs. Garrett is my favorite teacher! She is such a nice lady, shes like a grandma! She it tough but you can do it! I was average in HS and I got an A. You have to study A LOT and put effort into it...this is NOT a blow off class! She will help you with whatever you need...just ask! ..yes the class is very hard, but its the material not her...

She is a really great lady and wants you to do your very best in whatever you do. That being said er class is hard because she wants you to know as much as you can when you leave. But she will help you in whatever ways she can, her door is also open for questions or for open lab. If you are serious about your career I recomend you take her class!!!

She is a very nice lady, but there really isn't much teaching in the class. So I heard, she is way more detailed than Hitchcock in lab. The class is hard, but she will help you in any way she can if you ask questions. I recommend STUDY. I may have to re-take the class.

Make sure that you look at the class when you read the comments. Many people were to dumb to take note that this is MRS GARRETT (A&P) not DR. GARETT (chem). She is very hard but you will know your stuff much better than the other class. Most of the people in her class are nursing majors. Be sure to take her so that you know your stuff.

You have to know your stuff. She wants you to know absolutely everything, and the class is a nightmare, but she's very sweet and helpful. She gives ample opportunities for extra credit, and if you study and go to open labs you shouldn't have a problem.
