I really liked this class -- it was pretty hard to be honest - Dr Gowan's not an easy grader. But overall she was great - she's fair, and was very helpful if you were having trouble understanding what she expected.

Be prepared to write lengthy essay answers to her test questions. There is only one "perfect" answer to each question...her's. As long as you think exactly like her, you'll do excellent, otherwise expect a B- in this course.
