My class was a hybrid class that met only once between each test, the rest of the work was online. Made 100 on all 3 writing assignments (easy)! She has one test review day before the test, and if you don't go to that, you will probably not pass. She even gives bonus points just for showing up on time to the review.

Comment:

Zachary is a knowledgeable woman who also is super kind. If you want to pass this class these are the things you MUST DO. 1. Homework. 2. Show up to class 5-10 minutes early. 3. Sit in the front and pay attention. PLEASE don't use your phone or laptop while she is teaching. Its disrespectful and unnecessary. 4. Participate. She gives extra credit.

Honestly, Dr. Zachary is cool. She loves her job and loves the subject material. Okay yes she lectures the entire class, but the powerpoints are online so if youre so visual just look on courseden. Don't complain when the resources are at your leisure and you don't take advantage. She drops the lowest test

Dr. Z is not a good professor. She doesn't understand that there different types of learners in a classroom. I'm a visual learner and it's really hard to learn in her class because she sit at her desk the whole class and read from the book. Because of that, I'm not doing well. This class is also extremely boring do not take her for business law!

I got a 38 on my first test. The test was only over the examples in the book. Not any definitions, only the examples (current events is what she calls them). Make sure you remember every single story and you will be okay. Online homework due every week, 1 written paper so far. She is hard on late students. If you are one second late and the note is on the door then you can't attend class that day. She is very time strict. Her class is so boring. All she does is sit behind her desk and talk and none of it mattered for the test. Read the book and do the homework and you'll be fine.

I was a little nervous about her at first. She doesn't use power points or have any type of handout for lectures. She comes in, sits behind the desk and talks the entire time. However, I ended up loving her. She is super passionate and knowledgeable. Big on attendance and being on time, she will lock the door! Gives extra credit though!

Dr. Zachary was an awesome professor. She genuinely cares about her students and the class. She has her quirks, but she tells you about them at the beginning of the semester. Show up on time, listen, and do the online homework and you'll be fine.

Heard this class was hard going into it BUT I pulled out a B. Got a F on the first test Cs on the last two, B for homework and did the super easy two page writing assignment I GOT A B out the class ! Test were hard but she gives so much extra credit and opportunities for points, DO THE ONLINE HOMEWORK and you'll be fine

I took this during summer semester. 3 tests and 2 assignments that were pass/fail. Dr. Zachary teaches straight from the book, so it was easy to highlight the important parts as you listen. If you paid attention during class you'll do well on tests. Make sure you participate in class discussion or you'll be called on when you are not expecting it!

I took Ms. Zachary for Employment Law and her class was AMAZING. She is a GREAT professor. Most of the class time we discussed articles, watched videos, and read cases. She doesn't lecture from powerpoints. Attendance is mandatory. She hates when people arrive late. She gives extra credit. I would definitely take her again.

Any examples she gives in class, write down. they will be on the test. recommend getting the study guide with the book, she pulls some questions straight from the multiple choice section. this class has assigned seating and she will not let late comers in, be on time. she runs the class on a point system. good luck.

None of her test questions are from the book. The examples she gives in class is the test. If she talks about pink elephants, you better pay attention because it will be on the test. I took her over the summer got a B+, but I'm glad I am a Criminology major. Sometimes she gives you a blank stare, but she means no harm.

Very sweet lady, you have to study hard for her tests, but she gave out so much easy extra credit that it bumped me up a letter grade. All you have to do is show up and listen to her examples she gives in class(majority of the test) and you will do fine. However, Her class was really boring and you are not allowed to leave to go to the bathroom.

She's great! She gives plenty of examples and really knows how to dumb it down for those who struggle in this subject. The book is helpful but GET THE 7TH EDITION instead! It's almost the exact same as the 8th but cheaper! Also, the study guide she offers is a life saver but it's $40+. Would def recommend her any day!

This class was great! I took it over the summer, and as long as you pay attention in class the tests are cake! Women and work was definitely an easy A. Take it if you need a business elective or are working toward you HR certificate!

Comment:

In class she was helpful and informative. However, her tests were much harder than the context covered in class. You cannot cram or study for her test the night before. To get a good grade you have to start studying several days in advance. Not a favorite, probably would not take her again
