Professor Borrelli is hands down the best professor at conn. She expects much out of her students, but rewards you as long as you put the effort in. Never had a professor that cares so much about her students. I found her in her office at 9pm one time talking to a student, with another waiting to go in.

More than half way through the course and I LOVE her. She is so knowledge and makes you think critically. She WILL call you during class so you have to pay attention. She REALLY cares about her students and always has a warm smile. Honestly, I've learn so much in this semester than in my high school career!

Borrelli is an outstanding professor. She is challenging, but goes out of her way to make her class work for every single student. Hyper-aware of individual students' needs, she will reach out to you like other professors might not. Borrelli's courses, particularly 110 and 212, are friendly to gov majors and those who just want to take a gov class.

LOVE HER. Wonderful teacher and person, extremely understanding, difficult but reasonable work. So dedicated. Very helpful and encouraging, flexible when need be. Expects a lot from students in work and participation, definitely learned a great deal, definitely recommend!

Amazing teacher. Very understanding, very helpful, willing to work with you and you will learn a lot. She is a hard grader but only when she has to be, she is all for teaching students how to be the best they can be at writing political science. Take it!!!!

I didn't even do well in her class (I'm not a gov person) but I loved her. She's a professor really dedicated to her students and she understands better than any I've met that we have more obligations to the world than just those within the confides of school and her class. Wonderfully caring woman.

I can't beleive all the positive ratings?!? Borelli is stuck in her own outline, cannot engage with views outside her own limited outlines, and pegs students as "good" or "bad" from the start. Far from fair. . .far from intellectually stimulating.

VERY nice, intelligent, and accessible professor. Knows her stuff and makes it understandable. Very dedicated. Research Paper requires A LOT of work. Overall, interesting class w/ demanding research paper, but w/ a great professor.
