Amazing teacher, economic genius. I've taken both his ECON201 and ENV420 class and have never regretted it. Got A's in both. He gives next to no h/w and clearly explains what will be in the tests. He makes his class so great I'm also planning on taking my required ECON302 with him. My favorite professor at UMKC because wants everyone to succeed.

Forstater is a great teacher, but his class is hard. The class consists of 3 tests (all are 25 multiple choice) but they're NOT easy. He tests over small details and questions can be tricky! Attendance is worth 10 points for entire semester and he offers an extra credit assignment at the end. There's only 85 points total for this class so study!!

I loved this class. I messed up the first test because I was just getting back into school, but the rest of the semester was smooth sailing. I went to all the extra study periods with the TA to have questions answered and work on critical thinking problems. When I had theory questions, he always answered me thoughtfully. Loved this teacher.

Dr. Forstater is extremely knowledgeable in the world of economics. There are no assignments in the course your grade will consist of three exams, with the first one being the hardest, in my opinion. The exams are 25 multiple choice questions, but they're not easy they will require a lot of studying.

The tests were a bit challenging, but Dr. Forstater has dedicated his life's research to some of the stuff he talks about in class. He's funny, open-minded, and a cool guy. Almost a little cooky, but in the best way. Would take again

Don't be surprised if lectures perpetually drift to covering the Masai people instead of tested material.

When Forstater actually teaches the class it is awsome. He is an awsome teacher. The questions he assigns are pretty much exactly what's on the test. The student TA is a joke. She is awful at explaining anything hopefully people don't have her teaching the class like I did.But like I said Forstater is an awsome teacher. We only use powerpoint stuff

Dr. Forstater is a great teacher. As a non-economics major, it was a little confusing a first since I took an upper level class. But once I caught up, the class was super interesting and really helped me understand my area of study in a more broad sense. His experience is clear in his lectures because I knows so much off the top of his head!

MY INTRO ECON201 CLASS WAS REALLY EASY. HE DOESN'T TAKE ATTENDENCE. POSTS THE POWERPOINTS ONLINE, HAS TWO DISCUSSION SESSIONS EVERY WEEK THAT COVER TOPICS THAT WILL BE ON THE TEST, AND ALLOWS YOU MANY OPPERTUNITIES FOR EXTRA CREDIT OR WAYS TO GET YOUR GRADE UP!

Forstater is very good at explaining a hard subject and making it sound so easy. Don't even have to take a look at the book. Although he relied on a TA to do the outside work, the TA did just fine.
